Yeah I know this game is ages old and I've probably logged about a billion hours on the stupid thing. It's just one of those games you at first play for hours on end, then find yourself playing in 30min to 1 hr bursts. There's lots of versitility with the individual car projects and even additional cars and job available from a couple update paks. The game is simple and can be quite addictive as you try your hardest to make big $$$ on turn-around cars or fix up cars for your keeping. Add what parts and custom paint you desire then if need be auction it off. Really a great game that seems to still play well on alot of newer systems. Definately the best of it's kind. It would have been nice to somehow be able to adjust the engine (tuning) and maybe a little more parts interchangability between all the car models. It's really too bad you can't drive the cars, do a street race or such, but I guess that's sorta what Hot Rod ASD and GTG are for. The graphics and sound are nothing to shout at but the principle of the game is what most who like it are here for. I 've seen worse but at the game's release they really were pretty good graphics for what it was. Maybe some cool music durring gameplay would have been a nice addition. I'd sure like to see a more advanced version of this game in the future. This is really a great game and certainly a one-off of it's kind. Not sure if it's available anymore, but when it was it was a great value at a super price. If you like to wrench and would lke to do a little indoor car wrenching on the 'puter, it's definately worth checking out.
