First look: Commander Keen

Check out new screenshots of Id's platformer for the Game Boy Color.

Id and Activision have released new screenshots for Commander Keen, the side-scrolling 2D platforming game for the Game Boy Color. The game originally appeared on the PC, and the Game Boy Color version features the same hero, Bill Blaze. There are three primary worlds in the game, each containing multiple levels. There are more than 35 different enemies included in Commander Keen as well as puzzles, secret areas, and teleporters.

Commander Keen for the Game Boy Color is currently scheduled for release on May 17.
