EA tracks FIFA 07 tracklist

Keane, Elefant, Seu Jorge join the returning Paul Oakenfold and dozens more in providing tunes to nutmeg people by.

Soccer is the world's game, and the soundtrack to FIFA 07 looks to properly reflect that. Electronic Arts today released the tracklist for its upcoming footie sim, and the publisher has brought together a group of 40 artists from around the world.

Soccer powerhouses like Brazil, France, and the UK are well represented by acts like Seu Jorge, Tahiti 80, and Paul Oakenfold (whose "Beautiful Goal" will appear in the series for a third straight year). But the list of represented countries extends far beyond the standards, with acts hailing from Benin, Canada, Korea, Denmark, Japan, Holland, and Lebanon, among others.

FIFA 07 is expected to be released for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, PSP, and the PC on September 22 in Europe and October 3 in the US. An Xbox 360 version is also expected to be released later this year. The complete list of songs in the game follows below:

Wow. Most of this is, like other users said, an "international soundcrap". For me, being argentinian, putting a song from the band Bersuit Vergarabat on something like FIFA is crazy, since those guys sometimes say stuff like sh*t or f*ck and sometimes have sexual references on their songs. EA, just think for a second before choosing soundtracks
edger2006: ARE YOU INSANE OR SOMETHING? YOU THINK THAT TYPE OF MUSIC WOULD FIT ON FIFA OR ANY OTHER GAME? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! (said in an AVGN-like voice)
siyuro: Yes, "Beautiful Goal" has been the series' main theme since FIFA 2005

This is why Fifa games suck monkey balls. They spend all their effort on making the soundtrack good. Nevermind the stodgy gameplay, listen to new Keane song! Give me Pro Evo with their cheesy squealing guitar solos anyday. I swear Konami share Sega's guitarist.

FIFA's soundtracks are good...but Konami's Winning Eleven's most recent soundtrack was SO much better....they even picked up Ladytron and FischerSpooner

yes, oh yes, Ralph Myerz and The Jack Herren Band FTW.
and i don't like the others, maybe Keane but why the heck is outlandish there, they wer godd 3 years ago, now puer crap.
but my favourite band oh yes, Ralph Myerz and The Jack Herren Band, i may reconsider Fifa games after i had a blast from Pro Evoulotion Soccer games.
Sorry my favourite band, but EA suck, Konami FTW.

WOW! maybe the EA people should stop making the game and only make a cd with music, WHO CARES ABOUT THE MUSIC, I know north-americans don´t really care about soccer, but this "EA" boys, could buy konami and let them manage all the leagues and crap that EA has bought for the game. From fifa 97 they have great music but the game always stinks. What about using the money to pay a soccer (futbol) fan so he can give them an idea of what futbol is really about.
By the way i´m from Argentina, sorry about my gramatical mistakes. Saludos a todos
