Original Earthbound and sequels in development for the GBA
The Earthbound series appears to be coming to the Game Boy Advance.

Nintendo has released a TV advertisement in Japan that reveals that Mother (known as Earthbound in North America) and its sequel are currently in development for the Game Boy Advance. The advertisement features Mr. Saturn and a number of screenshots from both games, but it is not known if the two titles are part of a compilation or if there will be any changes made to either game. The ad also reveals that Mother 3 is in development for the Game Boy Advance.
Mother and Mother 2 are scheduled for release on June 20 in Japan.

Well, after 3 years, I can finally say: this is obviously NOT happening. Too bad too. Oh well, that's what ROMs are for, I s'pose.
