Mega Man Battle Network 5 coming this winter, say Japanese retailers
Japanese retailers say the two different versions of the game will have staggered release dates.
TOKYO--While Capcom has not made any official announcements about more Mega Man Battle Network sequels for the Game Boy Advance, Japanese retailers are reporting that the company will release two editions of Mega Man Battle Network 5, known as Rockman.EXE 5 in Japan, this winter. Rather than release the two games simultaneously, Capcom will stagger the release dates--one before the new year and one after.
The first of the two editions, titled Rockman.EXE 5: Blues' Team (Blues is known as Protoman in the US versions of the game), is listed for release on December 9. The second, Rockman.EXE 5: Colonel's Team, is listed for release in February of 2005. Prices for both editions are set at 4,990 yen ($45). GameSpot will have more information on the two editions of Rockman.EXE 5 as it becomes available.
