I've played a few RPG's in my life, and this has to be one of the best. This game has a great way of grabbing you and never letting go. The way everything flows and fits together just makes the game run that much smoother.

Gameplay- Gameplay is about an 8 for me. The way you have small creatures, called Djinn, adds the fact that you have to plan what time is good to use a certain Djinn and also which attributes you want your character to have. The fighting is just your run of the mill turn based system with exp, hp and mp. You attack, they hit you back. I was slighly disappointed with the defend in this game, but it's not that bad because everything comes out in the wash.

Graphics- The graphics in the game get a 7. While the graphics are good, it's really kind of sloppy. I would prefer a 2-d camera than a rotating 3-d camera. When the camera turns, you see how the characters design has to adjust to the angle, and that bothered me a bit. The environments in this game are very good. They range from deserts to watery caves to marshy swamps. It's very well presented overall.

Sound- Sound gets a 9 for me. I think sound is the most important thing in the world to me. Sound can make or break a game for me. The sound in this game is very good. The way the swords sound when they make contact, the way that the animals sound when they attack, it's a massage for the ears.

Value- This gets a 10. This game never gets boring. The world in this game is so massive, so many cracks and niches to explore that this game could be played for easily 100 hours.

As my closing statement, I feel that this game is as good, if not better than the original. the characters are easy to connect with, and the story is very engaging. A high recommendation from me.
