Shrek races on to the GBA

A new kart racing game based on Shrek is coming to the Game Boy Advance.

TDK Mediactive has announced that it's working on a new Shrek game for the Game Boy Advance, called Shrek Swamp Kart Speedway. The game will feature 16 tracks based on locales from various fairy tales showcased in the movie, along with eight selectable characters and four unlockable boss characters. As for gameplay, players will have access to four different types of power-ups, which enhance basic weapons, as well as two other power-ups, which directly affect other drivers. TDK also has plans to integrate a variety of single-player and multiplayer modes.

Shrek Swamp Kart Speedway is scheduled for release on March 20.
