Atlus ships River City Ransom EX
Atlus announces the North American release of River City Ransom EX for the Game Boy Advance.
Atlus has today announced the North American release of River City Ransom EX for the Game Boy Advance. The side-scrolling fighting game, which is an enhanced version of a classic NES title, sees players assuming the role of students Alex and Ryan as they attempt to rescue their fellow students from an evil gang lord.
"With its unique character-building system and customization, River City Ransom EX truly is the RPG of side-scrolling fighting games," said Akibo Shieh, project lead at Atlus USA. "We are bringing to life a video game classic to the Game Boy Advance, and we look forward to developing other titles based on this awesome franchise."
