Sad Sad Game

It's too bad Midway re-cored the development team on this project. Not only were all the cool character classes stripped out, but the whole things just feels generic, unfullfilling and makes me long to play "Dark Legacy" again (shutter).

The level designs are generic, and it's insulting to "bring back" creatures and generators and force us to "replay" sections taking just to take a different turn to get to the end guy!

Also, gamers shouldn't be able to find the trigger points to spawn creatures that shoot out from the sides to attack you. SERIOUSLY--there are many places you can stand and every 4 seconds or so a guy will come bolting mindlessly from NO WHERE and attack you. Free exp, or just a total rip-off? You decide. Again, lame.

Sure there were some nice graphics, but they easily overwhemled the screen with too much dazzle. I also found that I got too much gold too quickly and easily bought out all the skills possible. What's gold worth after that?? NOTHING. Poor planning.

Oh, and the "story" they cooked up... It was supposed to be a mission of vengace to kill the big bad guy... Now, you're helping the DEAD big bad guy save his reputation. WHAT? Kudos to the voice actor who TRIED to make it not sound lame... But a rotten apple is still rotten. I'm being nice there... I'd like to say something else.

Anyway, AVOID THIS GAME! This wreck is a lot like the XenoSaga 2 disaster!
