Garhasp does a competent job as the indie God of War, but it would have been more adequate at half the price.
The game lacks a lot that is present in modern games, but it has a lot of charm and ambition. The graphics were the biggest drawback for me personally, it looks like something from eight years ago. The performance wasn't the best for me as well.
I also didn't like the storytelling. It might be an accurate representation of Persian mythology, but still it lacks cohesiveness, and characters with personality to themselves. Everything is done with a narrator with a monotone voice. I feel like it's a missed opportunity.
What the game does good is the combat. It's fun and satisfying, and there is a sense of progression. The platforming and adventure elements are also competent.
Garhasp is a game if you like this genre, and you've already played all the games available on PC. You can appreciate it's combat and it's ambition. The current pricing is a bit steep and you might feel cheated. I would wait for a discount, because the current pricing doesn't really justify the content.
