Once you have a Game Boy Advance SP, with its rechargeable battery and internal light, there are only a few peripherals to add for the ultimate GBA experience. The big one is the e-Reader, which allows you to play a large variety of cheap, simple games that are recorded on what look like playing cards. You may also want to pick up link cables to connect to other GBAs and to a GameCube.

Game Boy Advance SP
The new, smaller version of the Game Boy Advance runs all the games the regular GBA does and has two major new features: an internal front light to make the GBA screen visible even in a dark room and a 10-hour lithium rechargeable battery (18 hours with the light off). The new clamshell design is about 3 inches square and can fit in a pocket. |
