The launch of the Game Boy Advance SP--which is smaller and has an internal light and a rechargeable battery--means that potential GBA owners have an attractive new option. Since the revised GBA is starting out at $99, gamers on a budget might want to consider the regular GBA, which is currently available for $69.

Game Boy Advance SP
The new, smaller version of the Game Boy Advance runs all the games the regular GBA does and has two major new features: an internal front light to make the GBA screen visible even in a dark room and a 10-hour lithium rechargeable battery (18 hours with the light off). The new clamshell design is about 3 inches square and can fit in a pocket.
