Your family is dead, and your home has been taken over by an enemy house that is all for green and none for humanity. The clan wars are over, but the war has just begun for you - so climb aboard your walking machine of destruction, lead the rebellion on your own home planet, and take back what is rightfully yours. In MechWarrior 4, you are the leader of a small lance of mechs who want nothing more than to see your family back in control of the planet. You control your lance mate's actions, the mechs they drive, the weapons they sport, and the targets they destroy. If you succeed and you're a good leader, the throne is yours to retake; if you're not a good leader, you will not have to worry about it because life will go on without you, and your family name will end here.
