A shadowy figure pulls you aside...
There you are. Finally found you. Now, don't get all startled-like, I'm a friend. I might not have scales and a tail like you, but you can trust me, really. I'm here to get you started. This here's a big continent you live on. In fact, I honestly don't know how you lizard-folk plan to retake all of Kunark.
Huh? Oh, right. Getting started. First off, did you get that journal I left for you? The one with all the basics, like how to fight, how to trade to merchants, and things like that. If not, here's another. Don't worry, I got a whole bunch of them. If you haven't already, you should read it through to make sure you know how to make your way around.
The next thing I'd suggest you do is get your bearings and become familiar with your guild and what it expects of you, then head out and start making a name for yourself. You can start by fighting stuff. They say that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. And in this world, that's true as true can be. Stick to fighting stuff that's about as strong as you are. And when you get stronger, you can take on bigger stuff. You do know that the big monsters are the ones with the big loot, right? Of course you did. For now, I'd suggest you stick to either the Field of Bone or the Swamp of No Hope - you can do pretty well for yourself there, at least for now. A little later on you might try the Lake of Ill Omen. I wouldn't suggest you try Warsilik's Woods yet - there are some pretty mean goblins out there and forest giants as well. And the frogloks - well, they're all over the place. Heh, seems like them froggies are always chasing you iksar all over the place... or maybe it's the other way around, I don't know.
Anyhow, get yourself ready. You've got a great big continent here. In fact, the place is so big, I don't see why you'd want to leave. What's that? You do want to leave, eventually? Well, you can - there are boats that'll take you to the other continents. You can get to Faydwer from Firiona Vie, and you can get to Antonica from the Overthere. But I should warn you: The humans and elves and such won't take kindly to you at all. Seems like they're afraid of you, and folks tend to hate what they fear. I really can't imagine why. I myself have said nothing but good things about your people to them. But if you should meet someone who isn't of your own kind, you should dispose of him immediately - after all, he'd do the same to you. Trust me on this. I wouldn't lie to you.
But I've already taken up too much of your time, haven't I? Here's some information that should help you get started. Good luck.
