Create-a-Wrestler Guide To best show you the process on creating a wrestler, let's make someone who, as of this guide's writing, has just returned to World Wrestling: the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. First, let's change this guy's name and all his important info. We'll set his name as "Shawn Michaels" and his nickname as "HBK." You can give him one of the custom music sets, or the NWO music, as well as any TitanTron you like. Body Type Then you should take the muscle-bound default character and tool with his proportions to get him into a more lithe physique. Shawn's skin tone and musculature are different from the default guy's, so we changed it to type 05 and skin color 4, giving him a nice tan. Modify Figure We moved on to his size and dropped straight to the "all" section, where we shortened him by a good margin, down to -12, since he's not quite as tall as most of the other superstars. His head and neck seemed all right, so we then moved to his shoulders, which needed some massive deflating. We dropped them down to -12, -6, -6, -12, for size, length, width, and depth, respectively, eyeballing the results as we went along. His upper arms also were a tad too large, so those came down to -6 across the board. We saw that the body parts were scaling correctly and decided to keep this formula--we gave Shawn -6 on his forearms and chest areas. As a result, his upper body didn't seem quite as monstrous--he looked much more proportional, so we decided to leave his lower half the way it was. Face You'll find faces that are perfect for re-creating a number of World Wrestling superstars, including Shawn, whom we felt was a dead ringer for face 11--thus, we gave him brown eyes. Diamond Dallas Page: face 02, hair 07, color 3; facial hair 07, color 4 Hair We gave Shawn the long locks, with hair 05, and a dark enough color to suit him, specifically color 5. Facial Hair Here's where we'd give Shawn a mustache or a beard. However, he's not that kind of guy, so we left this area the way it was. Note that many of the sample created faces don't really look like who they're supposed to be until you put the right facial hair on them. Upper Body What better way to get the Heartbreak Kid going than with his personal tattoo? It's number 04, but note that there's also a perfect tattoo for Diamond Dallas Page in there. Wrist Shawn has those signature wrapped hands, so we simulated that with wristbands and gloves. We gave Shawn wrist 02 and decided on a rich red color, which we made ourselves, tagging it to our favorites bar for future use. You can move through virtually any color desired by using the triggers to shift along the spectrum, as well as the analog stick to use any specific tint of a color. Saving this created color to the favorites bar ensures that future parts don't mismatch. Hand Completing the hand wraps are hand accessory 02 and the same red color we used with the wristbands. Lower Body He wouldn't be the Heartbreak Kid without his signature pants and logo, and they're included as lower body part 02 and logo 06. You can swap between two styles of hearts with the L and R buttons, which flip the logo's colors so that you either have black hearts with white outlines or white hearts with black outlines. We used the R version of the logo, which worked better with our red pants. Foot Shawn needed boots, so we gave him some. The right boots for HBK appeared to be 08, with logo 01. We made the boots white to go along with the white hearts on our pants.
And after his boots were done, so was he. You should now have the spitting image of Shawn Michaels, ready to gyrate toward the ring.
