Athyn Sarethi (Sarethi Manor)

He gives quests for House Redoran after you rescue him in Neminda's quest (described below)

Rescue his son, Varvur Sarethi, from Venim ManorYou'll also have to do this quest even if you're a member of one of the other Great Houses, as it ties into the main plot. Varvur is captive in Venim Manor (look behind the curtain in the Right Wing of Venim Manor). There's a key to open the door to Varvur's room on a nearby bench, as well as a note. As soon as you try to leave, you'll be attacked by Venim guards, so protect Varvur and take the guards out quickly, paralyzing them if necessary if you're in danger of being overwhelmed. You can usually avoid fighting by just running for the exit.
Prove that his son didn't kill Bralen CarvarenTalk to Varvur, who can now be found in the Sarethi Manor Guard Quarters. He won't say he didn't do it, but will say he doesn't know what happened because he's been having bad dreams. Look around his room and you'll see a "suspicious ash statue", which you should take. Talk to him again, and then to his father, and you'll be told that perhaps Lloros Sarano might know more. You won't be told directly, but Lloros Sarano is in the Ald'ruhn Temple. Talk to Lloros about the ash statue and Bralen and Lloros will confirm the statue's influence on Varvur's behavior.
Get Ondres Nerano in Balmora to stop slandering Bolvin VenimOndres is in Nerano Manor in Balmora. Just enter and ask him about slander. He'll never withdraw his comments, even if his disposition is very high, so accept his duel challenge. Unlike other duels, which occur in Vivec's Arena, this one will take place immediately. Just knock him down and you'll win the duel.
Kill the leaders of the smugglers in Shurinbaal CaveShurinbaal is just west of Gnaar Mok (on the same land mass). There are a lot of smugglers in the cave, and some of them have decent equipment. Use paralysis spells or items to handle more than one enemy at a time. There's a lot of random equipment to sell in Shurinbaal, including soul gems and scrolls enchanted with Open spells.
Stop Arethan Mandas, an insane Redoran noble in the cavern Milk, on the road to Maar Gan just north of the crossroads.Speak to his father, Llerar Mandas, in Ebonheart (bottom floor of Grand Council) and you'll be told that Arethan has been upset because his daughter was kidnapped in Tel Fyr. Go to Sadrith Mora and swim SW until you reach Tel Fyr. Arethan's daughter, Delyna, is in the basement locked in a room. Free her and walk her out the door (you won't have to fight anyone) and she'll give you a locket. Head to Milk, which is west of Maar Gan crossroads (and a little north of the road). The NPCs in the dungeon will still be hostile to you until you talk to Arethan, who is deep in the cave. Once you reach Arethan, talk to him (cast Calm Humanoid if necessary) and tell him about his daughter and the locket. Return to Ebonheart and talk to Llerar Mandas and you'll get a great reward, an Ebony helm worth 15,000 gold.
(given once you've reached House Father rank)Go to Sadrith Mora, and find out who is influencing Miner ArobarIn Sadrith Mora, you'll be told by NPCs that Master Neloth has some influence over Miner Arobar, and that Nartise Arobar is being held hostage. She is indeed, although she's relatively accessible in the entranceway to the Tel Naga Great Hall. Ask her to travel with you, but be prepared for an attack from three nearby NPCs (Rerynea Salas, Drodos Galen, Galmir). Nartise will help, but isn't too durable, so use paralysis weapons to keep the hostile NPCs from overwhelming her. If you retreat into the alcove where Nartise was being kept you'll have a better chance of fighting the hostile NPCs sequentially. Walk Nartise to the docks once you're done, and you'll get a Redoran Master Helm and Arobar's Amulet (casts fire damage and fire shield) as a reward.
(once you've garrisoned your stronghold and helped all of the Redoran councilorsChallenge Bolvyn Venim to a duelYou'll also have to challenge Bolvyn in connection with the main quest as well. Approach Bolvyn Venim (in Venim Manor) and he'll challenge you to a duel in Vivec's Arena. Accept it and travel there and kill him (he wears a complete set of Ebony Armor and is armed with a Daedric weapon, so paralyze him to slow him down, if needed, or pick him off from a distance while levitated). Return to Athys and you'll be named Archmaster of House Redoran
Brara Morvayn (Redoran Council residence)Bring the ash statue from Morvayn Manor to Lloros Sarano at the Ald'ruhn Temple.Morvayn Manor is east of the Manor district (not west, as you are told). Inside are several Corprus Stalkers and Lame Corprus creatures, and the darkness in the Manor makes it difficult to keep track of them (cast Night Eye, if you have it available). Kill the creatures and grab the statue, which is in a room with crates on top of one in the middle of the room. Bring it to Lloros Sarano in the temple and ask him to destroy it. You'll get a strength-enhancing amulet (Amulet of Mighty Blows) as a reward.
Galsa Gindu (Redoran Council residence)

When you've gained sufficient rank, you'll be prompted by Athyn Sarethi to seek Galsa

Build the Redoran StrongholdYour initial requirements are 5,000 gold and a construction contract from Duke Dren in Ebonheart. Talk to the Duke and tell him you'll act in the best interests of Morrowind in order to get the contract. Give Galsa both items, and check in with her again a week later and she'll tell you to visit with the construction foreman, Bugdol gro-Kharbush. The stronghold is in Bal Isra, on the east side of the road from Ald'ruhn to Maar Gan. Once you've talked to Bugdol, return to Galsa and give her an update.

A week later, you'll receive a journal entry suggesting that you check in with Galsa again. Galsa will ask you to get a garrison by talking to Percius Mercius at the Fighters Guild. Percius will ask you to free Frelene Acques in Vivec Hlaalu Quarter. Frelene will be in the Hlaalu Prison Cells, which are accessible through the waistworks Treasury. He'll ask you to break him out or hand him a key. It's much easier to just hand him a key, as there's two lying on on different tables in the room, including one far from the Ordinator in the room. Give Frelene the key and then return to Galsa and she'll start the next phase of construction on your stronghold.

A few days later, you'll get a journal entry telling you to check in with Galsa again, and when you do you'll be told to meet with Hetman Gul at your stronghold. Hetman will tell you that the settlers at the stronghold need wives, and suggest that you check in Ald'ruhn or hire some slaves in Sadrith Mora. In Ald'ruhn, NPCs will tell you of two different NPCs that will agree: Aryni Orethi (a wandering NPC) and Fathusa Girethi in the Ald'Skar tavern. Both can be persuaded to join by raising their dispositions, and they're all you need to complete the stronghold. There are several additional places you can find suitable wives, including any place where slaves are for sale.

Garisa Llethri (Llethri Manor)Find evidence of corruption in the Caldera mineAsk around in Caldera and you'll be directed to the Governor's Hall. Once there, you'll hear that Cunius Pelelius and Odral Helvi are responsible for the corruption, and the evidence you need is in Odral Helvi's chest on the second floor. It's in an isolated room, so you can close the doors and escape detection. If you can charm or persuade Cunius so that his disposition is raised sufficiently, he'll actually hand you a key to the chest.
Shut down the Caldera MinesOnce you complete the previous quest, you'll be given this one. Go to the mine facilities north of Caldera (follow the road signs) and you'll be told that Stlennius Vibato and Odral run the mine, but that slave Dahleena is also key to its operation. The easiest way to shut down the mine is to grab one of the slave keys (there's two available on tables, one in the mining guard tower and the other on the first floor of the mining garrison). Free Dahleena, who is in Slave Shack Two, and you'll complete the quest (you can also free the other slaves in the mine). Return to Garisa and you'll gain her support as well as valuable Ebony boots as a reward.
Hlaren Ramoran (Ramoran Manor)Collect taxes from Gnisis by speaking to Hetman AbelmawiaHop on the Stilt Strider and make a beeline for Hetman's residence, which is just north of the Strider port. He'll give you 60 gold to take back to Hlaren.
Find out what happened to Nalvilie Saren, who lived in the Redoran compound in VivecIn Vivec Redoran Quarter, NPCs will direct you to Saren Manor, but the only person there willing to talk about Nalvville is Toris Saren, who will tell you that Nalville owns a consignment shop on the south-side canals of St. Olms Canton. When you talk to Nalville, who is in South-One of St. Olms Canton, she'll immediately tell you that she rejects Hlaren's offer. Report the bad news to Hlaren and he'll agree to give you his support if you ever have need of it.
Lloros Sarano (Temple)Find out more about the Ash Statue of Varvur SarethiThis quest will become available once you've solved Athyn's quest and have given Lloros the statue. Ask him about the statue again, and he'll tell you to talk to Varvur again. Varvur will tell you he got it from Galtis Guvron at the Rat in the Pot. Confront Galtis and he'll attack you. Search his body and you'll find a note from Hanarai. Bring it back to Lloros and you'll get 4 restore health potions, and one cure blight disease potion and cure common disease potion. Confront Hanarai in her nearby residence and she'll also attack you. The locked door in her basement leads to a Sixth House shrine.
Find out what happened to Fedris Tharan, who was supposed to make the Ruddy Man Pilgrimage to Koal CaveFedris ran out of gas on the verge of making it to the Koal Cave. NPCs in Gnisis will tell you that he did indeed leave on his trek. He's just up the hill near the cave. Give him a potion of Cure Disease or tell Lloros of his woes. You'll get four potions of cure disease from Lloros as a reward.
Find out what happened to Beden Giladren, who went to Maar Gan.In Maar Gan, which is a quick Stilt Strider ride away, NPCs will tell you that Tralas Rendas at the shrine can be of assistance. Tralas will tell you that Beden was kidnapped by Ashlanders who have a small camp west of Maar Gan. Beden is in Mila-Nipal hut, a small camp directly off of the road heading west of Maar Gan. Manat Shimmabadas will hand over Beden, a "famous noble", for 5,000 gold, but if you tell him that Beden is not famous (and then talk to Beden, who will immediately confirm that he was lying), Manat will free Beden for a paultry 5 gold, and Beden will go on his own way.
Return the House Redoran Shields of the warriors who were sent to Andasreth StrongholdAndasreth is due west of Ald'ruhn, on the coast. The shields you need are in a locked room on the lower level of the fort. There's little else of interest in Andasreth, other than some ill-equipped hostile NPCs. Lloros will let you keep a Redoran Banner Shield as a reward.
Neminda (Redoran Council House)Speak to Drulene Falen about hostile mudcrabsDrulene's hut is almost due west of Ald'ruh, NE of Gnaar Mok. The mudcrabs are coming from the SW, right near the coast. You'll fine a pair of crabs around a Guar body. Kill the mudcrabs and report back to Drulene and you'll receive a couple of Hackle-Lo Leaves.
Take a Cure Disease Potion to Theldyn Virith in Ald VelothiTheldyn is in the Outpost, in Ald Velothi. Take a Stilt Strider to Gnisis and head north, following the signs. On the way you might want to complete the quest from Synette (described in Gnisis section), since it gives you a key magic item.
Find Mathis Dalobar who was on his way to Maar GanIn Maar Gan, people will indicate that Mathis might have hid from an Ash storm. Keep asking people, and eventually someone will tell you that he might have ducked into Rothan Ancestral Tomb, which is just west of Maar Gan (a little north of the road, just when it starts to turn south). Escort him back to Maar Gan, into the Shrine.
Recover a Founder's Helm from Alvis Teri at the Eight Plates in BalmoraAlvis is indeed at the Eight Plates, so take a Stilt Strider ride to Balmora and approach him. Make sure you're at maximum fatigue, since you'll need to use your Speechcraft skill. You can either use "taunt" to get him to attack, and then just eliminate him and take the helm, or just raise his disposition up using "admire" until he just gives you the helm.
Help Drulene Falen with banditsGo back to Drulene Falen and she'll tell you some of her Guar were stolen by bandits that headed south. They've gone into Telvayn Ancestral Tomb, where they are hanging out with some rats. Take them out and return to Drulene for some more Hackle-Lo.
Guard Athyn Sarethi in Sarethi ManorHead to Sarethi Manor, which is also in the Manor District, and you'll see a couple of dead Redoran guards near Athyn. Prepare for attack and when you're ready, approach and talk to Athyn. As soon as you talk to Athyn, you'll be attacked by two assassins. Kill them and report to Athyn and Neminda. You'll get 200 gold as a reward from Neminda for completing the quest, but you can make a lot more money by looking the dead Redoran guards and selling their armor (to the Creeper in Caldera, in particular).
Tuveso Beleth (Redoran Council Smith)Escort her son, Deval Beleth, to the Koal CaveAn easy, but time consuming quest. Hop on the Stilt Strider to Gnisis and then make your way south (go around Darius Fort first, since it's too difficult to get Deval to climb the cliff on the other side of the river directly south of Gnisis). Follow the road to Koal Cave and take Tuveso inside. As a reward, you'll get a Steel Firesword from Tuveso.
Get Giras Indaram in Molag Mar to pay his armor repair debts Giras and his brothers are tough Buoyant Armigers, armed with glass equipment, but there's no need to fight. Giras has two brothers and one of them, Tidros, will agree that if would be honorable for Giras to pay his debt. After talking to Tidros, talk to Giras and he'll challenge you to a duel. All you have to do is knock him down or badly wound him and he'll forfeit the match and hand over the cash.
