 Metal Gear Solid X System: Microsoft Xbox (Projected release: To Be Announced) Little is known about Metal Gear Solid X for the Xbox other than the fact that it's supposed to be a direct port of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty for the PlayStation 2 and that when Konami announced the game for the Xbox back in September of 2000, console gamers turned a more serious eye to Microsoft's promised hardware. A franchise such as Metal Gear can bring a lot to a console, and the promise of future Metal Gear games on the Xbox certainly won't hurt Microsoft. We'll update this space when more information becomes available. In the meantime, look for the Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty demo in March 2001 with Zone of the Enders for the PlayStation 2.
