Upcoming Games

Not surprisingly, Nintendo isn't done with Kong and his band of merry apes just yet. At least one title is in development, this time for the Game Boy Color. The title has been known by several monikers, including Donkey Kong 2001, Donkey Kong, Dixie and Diddy, and Donkey Kong Country. As far as we know, the game is currently being referred to as Donkey Kong Country 2 (in spite of the fact that there was no DCK1 for the Game Boy Color).

Apparently it's a straight port of the Super NES version of Donkey Kong Country 2, which was previously thought impossible. It's not to be confused with the color Japanese version of Donkey Kong Land 3.

There's been talk of a Game Boy Advance Donkey Kong game as well, but Nintendo and Rare have yet to confirm anything.
