Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Expansion
Publisher: Microsoft
Developer: Ensemble Studios

"The new civilizations are a blast to play, and they offer something different. For instance, the Huns don't need houses to demonstrate their nomadic lifestyle, and the Koreans can gain a significant +2 range on their siege weapons through a technology upgrade. The Aztecs don't have mounted units - instead, they are given the Eagle warrior, a foot soldier that is every bit as fast as a horse making for a terrific hit-and-run unit. Plus, each of the existing civilizations gains one new unit and a new unique technology as well as several new technologies that are common to all civilizations. These changes alone are enough to make Age of Empires II seem like a new game."

Command & Conquer Red Alert 2
Publisher: Electronic Arts
Developer: Westwood Studios

"Fast and furious gameplay and a return to the familiar Command & Conquer universe, which has enough innovation and campy fun driving it, make the game more than a worthy purchase. Some people might be turned off at the notion of another Command & Conquer game, solely due to Tiberian Sun. I was one of those people, but after playing the first mission, I fell in absolute love with this game. The gameplay is back, along with a revamped Tiberian Sun engine that looks much better than its first incarnation."
