Most Disappointing Delay
Without fail, every year some of the most hotly anticipated games end up getting delayed until the following year for various reasons. At GameSpot, we're as disappointed as anyone to not be able to get our hands on some of these exciting-looking games in the time frame we expected to--though we suppose it makes our deliberations for this award easier when some of these big-name games get pushed back. At any rate, here are the finalists for the one game whose delay most disappointed us, since we just can't wait to play it:

Microsoft's goal of "ultrarealism" for its premier racing simulator meant gearheads would have to wait an extra few months--until February 2005, to be specific--before getting their virtual hands dirty under the hood.

Another realistic driving sim, another unfortunate delay. Those familiar with the troubled history of the latest Gran Turismo iteration, however, probably saw this one coming.
