Best Game Based on a TV or Film Property

Games based on TV shows or films used to be notorious for being awful, almost without fail. Yet during the past few years, more and more games have managed to buck this trend, emerging not just as impressive companion pieces to their source material, but also as excellent games in their own right. In recognition of this entirely positive trend, we present our finalists for Best Game Based on a TV or Film Property:

This cult-favorite show has reached its series finale, but Buffy lived on in full force this year thanks to Chaos Bleeds, a genuinely entertaining action adventure game that does full justice to its source material. Chaos Bleeds isn't a huge departure from last year's Buffy game, but is still a great game in its own right.
