![]() Worst Game of the Year on PlayStation 2 Unfortunately, not all games can be good, and some turn out to be especially poor. These are the games that aren't forgotten as quickly as the many lackluster games that are published each season--these particularly bad games gain notoriety for being so remarkably flawed. They're not necessarily disappointing, since no one really expected much of them in the first place, but then again, no one could have been prepared for just how lousy they turned out to be. It's a regrettable commendation, but even so, GameSpot now presents you with the Worst Game of the Year on PlayStation 2:
Publisher: Midway Developer: Midway Check latest prices »
There are plenty of fantastic games to celebrate on the PlayStation 2, but then there's that basement full of broken, unfinished, and poorly designed junk. While there was some debate among the staff when it came to determining the PlayStation 2's lowest point, we eventually agreed upon the utterly incomplete BMX game Gravity Games Bike: Street Vert Dirt.
Gravity Games is quite obviously unfinished. The physics are a mess, the levels look horrible, and the clipping is a joke. While you could try to make a case for the awful nature of any of our runners-up, none of those games were as obscenely broken as Gravity Games. When it comes to Gravity Games Bike, there's only one thing you really need to know: Don't play this game.
