Some strategy games provide enjoyable single-player campaigns that span dozens of missions. Other strategy games offer robust, fully featured multiplayer modes that can keep you busy for months on end--or even longer than that. While some strategy games manage to attain the best of both worlds, others are more squarely focused toward multiplayer competition, which is what hard-core strategy players prefer.
