If you can, try to forget just how bad a game Arthur's Quest: Battle for the Kingdom is and consider how unintentionally funny it is. Though it was intended to be a fast-paced first-person action game in which you fought huge hordes of ugly little troll-like creatures, werewolves, ugly little troll-like creatures, ghosts, and ugly little troll-like creatures, it had poor enemy pathfinding and also gave you extremely fast running speed. As a result, you could conquer most of the game's already unimpressive levels simply by running past your enemies, which begs this question: Did the developer simply fail to realize that all the game's enemies could be so easily avoided, or did it actually intend the game to be one big, hilarious chase, like the frantic chase scenes in The Benny Hill Show? Maybe it's a question better left unanswered. For now, we invite you to watch our video review of Arthur's Quest: Battle for the Kingdom for an important public service announcement.
