Worst Game on Game Boy Advance

Unfortunately, not all games can be good, and some turn out to be especially poor. These are the games that aren't forgotten as quickly as the many lackluster games that are published each season--these particularly bad games gain notoriety for being so remarkably flawed. They're not necessarily disappointing, since no one really expected much of them in the first place, but then again, no one could have been prepared for just how lousy these games turned out to be. It's a regrettable commendation, but even so, GameSpot now presents you with the Worst Game on Game Boy Advance:

Mortal Kombat Advance

Publisher: Midway
Developer: Virtucraft

Did the developers of this game actually play Mortal Kombat 3 before putting Mortal Kombat Advance together? While the game may look and sound like its arcade counterpart, the gameplay is completely devoid of any positive aspects. The clunky movement and moves are further exacerbated by the game's stupidly overpowering AI, essentially ensuring that the game is downright unplayable regardless of whether you're playing alone or with a friend.

Thankfully, Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance was released later in the year, effectively cleansing the palette of the foul taste left behind by this violently broken remake. Do yourself a favor and just pretend Mortal Kombat Advance doesn't exist. Your life will be more pleasant as a result.

Other Nominees:

Earthworm Jim 2
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
Legends of Wrestling II
