Attendance for sold-out 2013 show up 23 percent year-over-year; more than 635 exhibitors from over 40 countries attended.
Gamescom 2013 has come to a close, with the sold-out German event seeing attendance rise 23 percent year-over-year to over 340,000 people, event organizers have announced.
More than 635 exhibitors from over 40 countries attended the show, including Microsoft and Sony, which used the event to highlight the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
During Gamescom 2013, Microsoft detailed its Xbox One independent developer program in detail, while Sony nailed down a November launch date for the PlayStation 4.
