Tony Hawk and Spider-Man confirmed for the GameCube
Activision brings its two major franchises to Nintendo's next-generation console.
As part of its most recent financial report, Activision has confirmed new games in its Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Spider-Man franchise for the Nintendo GameCube. The two titles will be released in 2002. The company has already announced Stuart Little games for Nintendo's console and it is also working on a title based on the upcoming Jacky Chan Saturday morning cartoon for the Game Boy Advance.
Activision also announced that it has signed Shaun Murray, two-time world wakeboarding championship, as the cover-athlete for a next-generation wakeboarding game to be released under the company's new O2 brand.
GameSpot will have more on Activision's lineup from the E3 show in Los Angeles.
