Atlus to release Animal Leader in North America
The game featuring a cast of cubed animals finds a domestic publisher.
Atlus has announced that it will publish Nintendo's Animal Leader in North America under the name Cubivore. In the game, players will assume the role of relatively simplistic creature that has to attack and devour other animals in the environment in order to grow and evolve. As players progress through the game, the creature will receive new body parts that will enhance its capabilities.
"Cubivore has a unique visual style, and gamers will quickly be won over by its innovative gameplay and fascinating character animations," said Akibo Shieh, project lead for Atlus USA. "With easy-to-learn controls and a quirky sense of humor, Cubivore promises to deliver an entirely new gaming experience on the Nintendo GameCube."
