Namco has today announced that development on Spawn: Armageddon is complete and that the game is currently being prepared for a retail release on November 21. Based on Todd McFarlane's popular comic book character and coming to all current-generation console platforms, Spawn: Armageddon is a third-person action game in which players assume the titular role of Spawn as he finds himself in the middle of a battle between the forces of good and evil.

"We're confident that Spawn: Armageddon is about to raise a lot of eyebrows when it hits store shelves in late November," said Glen Cureton, producer at Namco. "The close working relationship between the game's development team and Todd McFarlane Productions has ensured that Spawn: Armageddon not only lives up to the already successful Spawn comic franchise, but that it exceeds those high-quality expectations in a way that only today's high-tech video-game technology is capable of doing--get ready to see Spawn in a light never before seen."
