E3 2002: Konami announces new skateboarding game.
Even without the ESPN license, Konami will continue releasing sports games.
Konami has announced Evolution Skateboarding for the GameCube and PlayStation 2. The game will contain eight different levels, which are said to be 200 percent larger than the levels featured in Konami's last skateboarding game, ESPN X Games Skateboarding. The game will also feature boss battles, which will pit your skater against foes such as a giant spider and a runaway truck. Create-a-skater and create-a-trick modes are also included.
Evolution Skateboarding will hit the PS2 in October and the GameCube in November.
