Blood Omen 2 ships for the GameCube

Eidos announces the availability of the first Legacy of Kain game for a Nintendo console.

Eidos has announced that the GameCube version of Blood Omen 2 is now available in retail stores. The game, released for the Xbox and PS2 by Crystal Dynamics earlier this year, was directly converted for the GameCube by Nixxes Software. Blood Omen 2 is the most recent game in The Legacy of Kain series, and it places players in control of a newly resurrected Kain. Over the course of the game, Kain uses his vampire powers in an attempt to reestablish his bloody rule.
