acemarine45 lonelyhippie27 and so many many more of you that left NEGATIVE comments need to get a life for real. you guys wouldn't know a game unless it had some big name behind it like MASS EFFECT or ELDER SCROLLS, but Im here to tell you that your ignorance knows no bounds. HBO series was the best tv series ever. the book was even better and will go down as one of modern day literature's classics. you're so dumb, in fact, that I felt compelled to log in to this old account that probably hasn't been logged into since 2009. PLUS Im working on a 20+ page research paper. PLUS I've got work in two hours. BUT I just felt compelled and urged to address this wild beckoning at my side. You all are fools and you don't deserve innovation. You don't deserve a good story-telling RPG. You ALL wouldn't recognize greatness if it slapped you upside the head. This game will give Dragon's Dogma GREAT competition, as both look to be better RPG's than Skyrim.. Possibly even better or atleast on par with Mass Effect 3, minus the fact that both May upcoming games won't feature in-depth co-op play on multiplayer as Mass Effect 3 did. Either way, both look to aim at greatness and possibly RPG of the year awards. Both will most likely be nominees as long as Game of Thrones gets a chance to be actually played past the 5 hours mark. I'm having a tough time deciding on which to pre-order first: either GoT or Dragon's Dogma. I've gotta pre-order one of these by May. Any opinions?
Doesn't look that great. =( feels like a waste of time.. the books and the series are all about characters and the story there isn't that great of a gameplay that can coem from that.. Unless this was an RPG where you can really affect the world with even the smallest of decisions you make but apart from that the combat system with no magic may not be the best so I don't know what to think of this..
I didn't have high hopes for this game before, but this trailer has perked me up a little bit. The voice acting is solid, the animations don't look quite so bad as they did in the previous trailers, and the story looks to be at least passable. Like blaqphantom said, I'm really crossing my fingers. This game has the potential to be awesome.
Not so excited. Books and the series are both great, however video games based on stuff like this is usually what I call "a renter".
