Galleon iis good fun. At first. But after about the first 30 minutes of play, you soon begin to realise- perhaps not. I mean, you were having great fun, jumping onto the rocks and leaping 30 metres onto another platform, until this stunning acrobat fails to clamber up a 30 cm ledge. And when you have to kill the kill the massive boss by climbing up its back- until you have to do the same for every single other boss. Galleon is severely let down by these moments of stupidity and repetition, but, luckily they account for only about one third of the game. The other two thirds is actually made up of good material, with a genuinely thought out story (if, slightly traditional to this genre) and wellmeditated and vast move system. One of the biggest difficulties in Galleon is the huge, absolutely gigantic problem ofd the stupid camera. it swivels and turns and pans and jumps so much that it absolutely vital situations where the camera needs to be at its best, instead all you can see is a badly textured and rendered piece of rock. But, throughout all these problems, Galleon remains an interesting premise, and well worth trying out, but only when its cheap.
One thing I would like to say is that Galleon should have received more credit than it did. I have owned the game since it was released in 2004 in the US. I will keep this review as short as possible: Graphics: This g... Read Full Review
