Excellent Port of An Excellent Arcade Classic

Galaga is one of those arcade classics that's a must play. Galaga was released on home ports after the success it had in the arcade. This is by the far best not emulated port of the game to date. Released in 1988 with the cover saying "Galaga: Demons of Death", this game is no different from the arcade classic, just the 1988 copyright date added to the 1981.

Game play is very identical, and it's the same. All the stages and difficulty and all the challenging stages as well. The graphics are well done and look very close to the arcade classic, if not perfect. The sound is not really the same, it sounds a bit more modern. And course everything else, it's basically playing Galaga on the NES. This is a great port of a classic arcade game. Try it out.

  Galaga is about as basic, and almost as fun as old school games get.
