As fun as I remember it!

This was one of my favorite games growing up. I spent many a quarter playing this after my Saturday morning bowling league. This game gets it all right. It looks exactly like the original, which is good and bad. I would have loved to see the screen in HD mode, or some other differences to keep things new, but all in all, it is still worth a few hours of mindless enjoyment on a Saturday afternoon.

The achievements are not all that hard to get, though I have not gotten them all yet. I like being able to start from the highest level you have reached and play from there. It means I have gotten to see levels I never have before.

  Even with its minor flaws Galaga makes for a charming, nostalgic, and cheap port of an arcade classic.
