Classic Arcade Game Makes a Decent Return
For 400 MS points, you will be, as I've mentioned before, be getting the standard, classic Galaga arcade game. This isn't a bad thing, since it is still fun to test your skill at a classic. Graphically, the game looks like the original arcade version, porting the original look of Galaga. I feel that Namco could have taken the time to freshen the graphics, but overall no big loss. The best thing about the game is the gameplay, and if you like playing Galaga in past renditions, you will probably like this version. Considering you could probably find this game for free on the internet (or a version of it), the main reason to purchase this game is for the achievements. Just a warning about the achievements, they are VERY EASY to achieve. You will probably be able to get the full 200 achievement points within a couple of hours. Personally, I felt like the achievements were a disappointment due to the ease of earning them and that the replayability of the game would be vastly improved if there were more difficult achievement points.
Overall, the game is fun to play, especially if you like classic arcade games. However, once you get all the achievement points in the game, it feels like the game becomes pointless, and may sit in your Xbox Live Arcade collection collecting dust.
