I've really enjoyed this game. I would agree with much of the Gamespot review. However, I did not experience the repetition described by the reviewer. The enemies and situations are varied and the weapon and gadget upgrading is well-paced, meaning that there are constantly new ways of over-coming barriers and winning battles; enemies all have different weaknesses and defence techniques, making combat strategic rather than mindless button mashing; for example, you can set enemies against each other or lure them into lasers as well as engage in direct melee combat or fire-fights.

The game has the fun and quirkiness of MDK with some of the environmental problem-solving of Tomb Raider. It is challenging, but not overly so there are no frustrating barriers that can kill a game. The fun of playing as a covert Ginea Pig doesn't seem to wear off and the dialogue is snappy and entertaining.

Give this a go. i've been surprised at just how good it is.
