User Rating: 6 | Futurama PS2
Introduction:
Futurama is based on the famous Cartoon series that has just finished showing on Fox that was created by Matt Groaning. You will get to play as Fry, Bender, Leela and even Dr. Ziodberg.

Gameplay:
The controls for Futurama are easy to use after awhile but for first time users, it can sometimes be frustrating. As in most action games, the camera angle is a bit of a let down again. There is a lot of jumping in the game and sometimes you will need to jump in a hurry and, even though the L1 button puts the camera behind you, you will have to jump onto a platform that is off screen, making the gameplay a bit frustrating at times. Some of the specials aren't easy to pull of either, for Bender you will have to press [] and X to perform his special and I know some people struggle with this.
Score: 6/10

Story:
The story is great, what else could be expected from the writers of Futurama. Any fan of the show will like the story. The jokes are great and funny, something worthy of the show itself. The main villain is of course Mom and she is trying to take over the universe (what else is new?) and after buying Planet Express, she owns over 50% of the world and she changes the name from Mother Earth to Mom Earth and one thing leads to another in comical fashion which leads to Fry, Leela and Bender to find a way to save the universe.
Score: 10/10

Graphics:
Futurama doesn't have the graphics of a Final Fantasy or Metal Gear Solid game but the graphics do the game justice. The graphics suit the game in a 3D environment and looks as good as the cartoon itself. There is a cartoonish feeling to the graphics and this makes them all the better, Fry looks like he does in the carton when he acts stupid and Bender looks great when he speaks but Leela's hair is the only let down, it's a bit brighter then in the cartoon but still, everything else looks fantastic. The graphics give you a feel of that your actually in the game, when your in the Planet Express building, it feels and looks like you are actually there, one fun experience to have for any Futurama fan.
Score: 10/10

Play Time/Replayability:
Futurama can take around five to six hours to complete, it depends on how good you are at this kind of game or how quick you get use to handling the controls of the game. But the average I would say could be 2 to 6 hours on your first try. As for replayability, the story it's self is good enough to replay, you'll understand when you manage to complete this game.
Score: 8/10

Final Recommendation:
I would recommend this game for any fans of the show, if you don't like the show or haven't seen the show, give it a try. It's a good adventure game with some great comedy in it.
