It was a bit disappointing, but it was rather fun.

The first thing I look at when playing a game is the graphics. This is what disappointed me the most. I found the graphics to be rather dull and unattractive. Despite this slight letdown, the cut-scenes use exclusive anime footage, which was exactly what I had hoped for. In fact, wanting to see the cut-scenes is mostly what me keep playing the game. As for the story, I think it was good, but not great. I enjoy a suspenseful story, but this game gives you too much information. It shows what the villains are doing much too often, making the plot too predictable. Aside from the cutscenes, the battles are probably the best part of the game. I enjoyed the freedom of the real-time battle system. The ability to "transmute" objects into weapons was a great feature, although I believe they should of given a wider selection of different weapons. Many of the boss battles were very challenging. Although I'm glad they weren't too easy, a couple of them were rather difficult and very frustrating. Overall, Full Metal Alchemist and the Broken Angel wasn't too much of a disappointment, but it could have been better.
