I was on the list when I heard about this game from pandemic. I watch video after video and read preview after preview. No after some hands on time, I have to say I love this game. There are a few things that I think should have had more time spent on them but those few things aren't enough to blemish this great game. I didn't know how I would take to not actually firing a weapon and targets but once again I am impressed at how they made this game as intense as those where you do take aim. I think that this is the first game where your fire teams actually do what you tell them and you don't have to worry about them fending for themselves. Then there were times where you would give an order and for some unknown reason they wouldn't respond or atleast took a minute to follow through. I believe this "Hesitation" is due to some "Real world" algorythem to where they would have to wait for the right time to follow the orders given but there were times where that hesitation caused a team member to get shot. All for all, this game is the truest form of tactical warfare out there. You can not, nor would you want to just run out there guns blazing and attempt to lay waste. You wouldn't try and do it in the real world, so you don't do it here. Thats the quickest way to get your Booty handed to you by some unseen terrorist and have to tread your wounded to the next "casevac" (medical station). The use of cover and team tactics is crucial and it makes you feel as if your playing a really good game of chess but in this chess game, your knights have fully automatic weapons. I can't wait to see what the download content will be, perhaps new missions? Perhaps a new online mod, maybe 4 on 4 death match or capture and hold? The online is good but most of the time, unless your running with someone who knows about fire and movement tactics, your gonna get frustrated more often then not. I would say that if you like war games, then you need this title in your collection but, if your still skeptical then atleast give it a rent and take the time to learn the controls and the best ways to take out your enemies and you will have as much fun as I.
