The game looks great on HDTV's in higher resolutions. Too many car explosions near the screen will produce a mild video lag that can be annoying. As for non-HDTV's the UI scales horribly making it hard to see your car during car selection as well as an odd screen slowdown during menu option changes (Not a problem on HDTV's). The storyline isn't very immersive, truthfully i was hoping for a little more then what was provided. Solo game play is enjoyable for a few hours of play, as well as multi player battles. Car physics do need work, personally i was hoping for more of a Twisted Metal feel driving.
Again worth the rental if available, though i wouldn't recommend buying the game unless you really enjoy it.
