@ ptrpedrohung..... Because the war on terror for the most part is against foot soldiers and the rail gun is far from being implemented for use on the battlefield in that capacity..
If the U.S. posses technologies such as pulse magnetic rocket launchers like one of these developers said, why are they still fighting the freaking war on terror?
