Between the sloppy controls, the poor story and character develoment, Frontlines Fuel of War is a definant disapiontment

Frontlines Fuel of War is a first-person shooter by THQ and Kaos Studios that fails on almost every level.
Frontlines Takes place on 2012. The whole world is devastated by a shortening supply of energy so, practicaly, the whole world is at war with eachother trying to find the last bit of energy. At first you might find this interesting and sounds exiting to play. Uh, no, it isn't, you might be having fun during the first 10 minutes, or so, but after that, you begin to notice the games many flaws.
Once the main introduction ends, the whole story stops, and it's just nothing but combat. Sure there is a few characters in there, but they are all boring, and lame, you probably wont even remember their names. Also, the game ends before you even know it, that leaves you unsatisfied.
The games graphics are passable, you would expect more from the unreal engine it uses, but it's still good enough. The whole lighting and texture is pretty weak, but the envirements are large and look nice.
The gameplay isn't much better. The controls couldn't be possibily any more sloppy and it's is unreasonably hard to drive a darn jeep, or any vehicle in that manner.
The weapons look cool, but the're all pretty standard, you get a shot-gun, a sniper, a rocket launcher, some pretty basic sidearms, and some assault rifles that look diffrent, but shoot in almost the same way. Fortunantly, to keep the gameplay from becoming horribly reptitive, you can have these little RC cars that you can deploy. What these things do are to blow up, or fire off a few short rounds and then blow up. It sounds pretty basic, but it's fun, in fact, it's the only fun element in the whole game. They maybe hard to control but the're still fun to drive around and cause mehem. Another element in the game, is that you can approach each mission diffrently. As an example, you have three targets on your map instead of the game choosing one for you, you can choose wether to complete this one, or that one next. It's not totally new, but it keeps a little more fresh.
Overall, I would not reccommend this to anybody. It's a five hour waste of time and the online is not much better.
