If you are a football fan in the 90s you probably played this game - if not you should have despite its flaws.
Sierra was on top of the gaming world there for a while when they dropped this one and there was a lot there to like. Big rosters, draft options, etc etc...but clunky camera angles and gameplay mechanics made this game frustrating to play even though there was so much good stuff there you wanted to keep playing.
Why? It gave you player specific options - you could design your own plays or you could be the coach. Basically this game transcended time. It was Madden, NFL head coach, and NFL ESPN 2K all in one.
This game was 10 years ahead of its time and its a shame it doesnt get talked about more.
If you can find this game and get your PC to actually run it there is a lot of fun to be had here.
