I would hope most all of the depth from the previous front missions is there.... Like making the pilot Eject and then hop into their robot to keep it for yourself. :3

@TheReaper180: Heh, not only in games from Square we see and play as "someone special". That is pretty normal perhaps for almost every cRPG and jRPG game. Playing as someone normal and unimportant is rather not very interesting but what a pity that it is rare to see in games something between those two edges, being a superUBERhero that saves galaxy/kingdom/planet etc. etc. for the N time is really really getting annoying and for sure old.
About Supreme Commander, I would not expect any interesting story from that game after first part. Of course I found few great strategy games in the past with really great or maybe better to say magnificent storylines & atmosphere like Homeworld games and Myth games (Myth games are more about real time tactics) but nvm that.
Anyway I am more interested with multiplayer than single player campaign in FME and of course I don't expect story to be of Baldur's Gate (pc) level etc. but You know it is just a TPP shooter.

@KellAset: I disagree. It seems like almost every story written by Square Enix involves one person attempting to make a difference through a so called 'epic journey.' Not to mention, it always seems like they choose the same generic voice actors who do a less than satisfactory job. For instance, Square Enix published Supreme Commander 2 and there isn't any solid evidence but it's quite obvious that they had something to do with the story and cinematics. This is, of course, my opinion. I never liked Square Enix very much if at all.

Story is by Square if I am not mistaken so I think it will be good but that choice of developer is sure odd. Anyway I can't wait, hope it will be good game, at end it is not first Front Mission tpp game, there was FMOnline.

This is potential to become a good game, but seriously, they could have picked a better developer. It's disappointing. Or have EA DICE do it. I mean they made Battlefield 2142 so they probably have good ideas for a sci-fi shooters. The gameplay, as it seems now looks bad. I mean doesn't look engaging. I understand time was an issue, but Square seriously, time? You always take your time on games, you should have done the same on this one. Sorry I'm partly on a small rage because I was expecting a Front Mission game from Square Enix, and a good one. Jesus. We already have AC, this looks worst too. Okay, I'm saying too much for a game with little information on.

    OMG! This BLOWS! FPS?!
They finally get Front Mission on PC, and now it's FPS!
This isn't Front Mission Evolved, it's Front Missionn DEVOLVED!
    I want a FM3 remake!
What a disappointment... Shame on you Square Enix... Shame on you...

I loved FM when it was turn-based - it was my favourite game on PS1. I'll not be buying this one, which is a real shame as I wanted to like it.

I hope that Shinji Hashimoto and David Verfaillie are happy for killing a great gaming serie turning into a crappy copy of AC only they wanted to make a Evolution -_-
