@cricent They don't make a strategy RPG for Front Mission Evolved?

making it action game instead of rpg is the stupid thing they could done. why change great game into something it's not. it takes like fives sec to kill wanzer now where is the Strategy in that? sound like to me they tried to make it more appeal for little kids. the game is let down to front mission fans. it just another run gun game only difference is your in wanzer. epic fail

be glad that they name it front mission evolved and not front mission 5.... I hate that they named fallout 3 to.. fallout 3 since it is a hole new game.... should be fallout V.A.T.S or something.... stupid bethesda

it's a shooter...nooooooooo...why why???square-enix what did we do for you to mess up one of the best tactical rpg's?

If there are weapon and mech modifications and some gameplay options like choosing to do a mission/level on foot or with a mech (or both) maybe it will turn out to be a good mech game (on the PC).

The screenshots looks totally shooter though. I am pretty sure GS is correct on this one. And the name is not FM5, so, it can be anything.

The first one I played was front mission 4 and I found it to be rather good was really disappointed I never got a chance to play Front Mission 5. I plan on getting this one and I hope they keep alot of the same style even if the gameplay is different it should be a good game

Front Mission 3 was a classic and one of the few PS1 games I played though twice, just to get both story lines (who would've known the fate of the world could be decided on whether or not you go down the pub with your ginger mate, a couple of hours into the game? It's like "The Butterfly Effect", but with giant robots). After that, in the UK, we didn't even get Front Mission 4, let alone 5. If this is really a shooter, I'm not bothered about it. If it's full-on, proper Front Mission tactical RPG action, I'm DEFINITELY buying an Xbox 360 or PS3. Unless, of course, Square Enix stay true to form and don't release this in the UK either. We only got Final Fantasy Tactics when it came out on the PSP, you know. They're funny like that.

@ MegandDia128 I hope that they misinterpreted the video. FM was always a turn-based-rpg /strategy, and I would like it left as such.

mmmmmm another shooter for square. Dirge of Cerberus was fun but Shooters don't fit Square though it could be quite cool

Man Front mission 3 was so amazing, I'm hoping for this one to be just as good, if not better!

I have waited SOOOOOOOOOOO long for this game series to turn up on PC. Front Mission 3 is by far the best game I have ever played on any platform. Needles to say Square Enix makes THE BEST games. I will under no circumstances let this one pass me. This will certainly make my top 5 games, and probably take over the No1 spot. Shunyo, Zenislev, Kyojun, Lenghe, Enyo, Mingtian... :D 10/10 I can't wait!

I have no idea why the warring factions in Japanese sci-fi games almost always target civilian populations first.

Wait is this a Mecha? wow someone actually had the balls to makea mecha this gen. Don't know what it will be like yet but if its good then i will consider it. Need gameplay vid.
