From the Abyss plays an excellent adventure game with many different playing styles and character styles.

A dungeon crawler that fails to be compelling -- with no story, weak combat, & repetitive scenery and monsters.

It has all the appearances of an RPG, but when you look closer, you see it is all cardboard cutouts without any depth.

Repetitive and lacking a "real" multiplayer system.

The sheer grinding dungeon crawler style of this game, and a broken save system, turns any RPG fan off from trying this.
