Great movie, decent game but could've been better

This is the latest EA Bond game. While there are some good points to the game, overall it was disappointing, especially compared with Everything or Nothing (EON), which was it's Bond predecessor.

The movie is my favorite Bond movie so I was pretty excited to hear a game based on it was coming out. The game uses many of the action scenes from the movie. There were some scenes from the movie which should've been in the game - the Train scene should've been longer and the helicopter chase wasn't in the game at all. The beginning level (which is also a tutorial) and the last level are new to the plot. The first level was ok but the finale level felt more like a tack-on level to lengthen the game. By the way, there were 14 levels in the game (but there were 3 similar levels involving driving around Istanbul), which was too short. It would've been better with some more content. It was also too easy to finish. The AI wasn't too smart and with auto-aim, it was mainly autoaim, shoot, rinse and repeat. Also the hand to hand combat system was downgraded compared with the system from EON. I wouldn't liked to get the chance to go hand to hand with the main villian from the game (like the movie)

The best part of the game was the look of the classic Bond era of the 1960's, the high point of Bond-mania. The graphics were very good and looks like a Connery film. It was nice to hear Connery voicing his most famous role but he does sound a lot older than he looked on the screen. The sound-alikes for the rest of the cast matched well from the movie (especially M, Tatia and Kerim Bey). I also liked the RPG-lite part of the game. You accumulate points during the levels that you can use to upgrade your Bond weapons. However, once you upgrade your armor and ammo, the rest isn't really needed to finish the game.
