See how your godlike powers will help the villagers in From Dust fulfill their pursuit of knowledge in the third developer diary in this series.
Actually I was thinking Sim City in god-mode. If they make it open-ended or add some complex RPG elements to it as the village(s) grow, I think they might be on to something.
Ugh, I was just fine waiting for "Skyrim" until I found out this game exist. :( Now I can't wait for this one. Lol At least it'll tide me over 'til "Skyrim" releases. Then I'll have two amazing games to play.
It doesnt matter that its an arcade game, it can still rival great god games like Populous and Black And White. :)
This game is starting to look insanely good. I don't know how varied the game will be due to it being an Arcade Game. Hopefully that doesn't ruin the potential of it however.
How is this fundamentally different fromt he Black and White series. No God worship? No avatar to worship? Greater focus on environment and manipulaiton thereof?
The game looks awesome. Preventing natural disasters and all looks very fun. Playing firefighter for the villagers might distract you from the rest of the game if they are too frequent, so I'm not sure it's really necessary. But why not... :)
Hmm having epic god's skill is asesome, but this is just EPIC form lands , rivers and mountains looks amazing. i only hope they find a way to add co-op play or multiplayer on this game
looks like a fun physics and world building game. But black and white knock off...? no, it lacks the depth and control over villagers that black and white has. I would love to see a video where you can build huts or cast miracles, make breeders etc. But as far as a game where you move earth to solve problems....looks like fun
i do hope this game on the ps3 will have support for the Move. would be a nice game to use that for.
This looks to be a winner, not enough puzzlers out there. I can imagine this getting hard, but then it looks good. As a lot of you guys have said it looks like an up-to-date version of populas crossed with black and white. "Kaa kaa.. Um wakaaa" And all that. Crazy Shaman :P
I'm very excited for this game. Bastion and then this back to back weeks. Good thing I stocked up on ms points.
