Frogger: Ancient Shadow E3 2005 Preshow Report

The Frogger series has been steadily pumping out action games for quite some time now, and the latest in the series is Frogger: Ancient Shadow, which is currently in development at Hudson for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, and GameCube.

The story in Ancient Shadow is about an evil crocodile named Dr. Wani, who is trying to unleash an evil force upon the swamp. You, as Frogger, must set out against Dr. Wani and attempt to save the swamp. At your side will be an additional playable character named Berry, who is a more-acrobatic frog than Frogger. In addition to this main story mode, up to four players will be able to compete against each other in a series of minigames. The original Frogger arcade game will also be included as an unlockable bonus.

Frogger: Ancient Shadow is scheduled to be released in the fall. PSP and DS versions of the game are also in development.
